For the founder of Luxe Haven Saunas, that moment came not in a boardroom or a laboratory, but in a small infrared sauna tucked inside a wellness retreat in the mountains of British Columbia. Exhausted from years of building businesses and neglecting the body that made it all possible, he stepped inside — and for the first time in years, truly exhaled.

The heat was different from anything he had experienced before. Gentle, penetrating, and profoundly restorative. Within minutes, the tension in his shoulders dissolved. Within weeks of regular sessions, his sleep deepened, his energy returned, and something he had quietly accepted as “just getting older” began to reverse. He had discovered what practitioners of thermal therapy have known for centuries: that deliberate, consistent heat is one of the most powerful tools for human longevity, detoxification, and mental clarity.

He searched for a way to bring that sanctuary home — and found that the market offered a stark choice: cheap, poorly built units that compromised on materials and safety, or clinical, institutional products that felt nothing like the retreat experience that had changed his life.

So he built something better.
